The Importance of Conferences II

I questioned whether conferences are worth the expense (in time, money, and environmental costs) in my previous post. I don’t have an answer to that after having attended my conference, but I did not account for the fact that I am more inspired to do research now than I was before the conference. In fact, I re-prioritized my summer so that I can do more research.
